Marx and Philosophy Society Annual Conference: Call for Graduate Papers
Papers are invited from postgraduate students for the fourteenth annual conference of the Marx and Philosophy Society. The conference will be held at Institute of Education at the University of London. The provisional date for the conference is the 24th June.
The topic of the conference is ‘Marx and the Concept of Labour’. However, graduate submissions do not need to address the conference theme: we welcome any submission that addresses the philosophical aspects of Marx’s thought. We also welcome contributions from any philosophical or political position.
For those interested, please send an anonymized abstract of no more than 400 words to Jan Kandiyali at j.kandiyali@gmail.com by 20 March 2017. Accepted papers should be planned to last for approximately 20 minutes.
The Society will cover travel expenses within the UK, and an evening meal. However, I’m afraid we cannot offer to pay for travel expenses from outside the UK, or for accommodation.
